Onetime Social Allowance
- Every student has a right to ask for this type of allowance.
- This sort of allowance can be given to students in the cases of ones welfares deterioration (f.e. disease, fire, theft, death of a close relative, sudden unemployment or injury).
- The size of allowance varies from 520 to 1640 litas (151 – 475 euros).
- There are no particular deadlines to put applications and concerning documents. One can always bring necessary papers to the closest department of Vilnius University Students’ Representation.
Necessary papers:
- certificate, representing the composition of student’s family;
- certificate, representing the income of student and of both of his parents (for last 3 months) or their unemployment;
- also one has give documents, endorsing reasons for which the allowance is being asked (f.e. in the case of death – death certificate);
- filled application form.
The distribution of applications is held monthly. The list of students, who were given the allowance will be published in www.vusa.lt right away from the distribution.
